We’re looking for a Front Office Team Member who’s friendly, switched-on, and ready to make every traveler feel right at home.

What you’ll be doing
- Be the face of the hostel: welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and bookings through our digital systems
- Manage guest inquiries in person, by email, and over the phone no robotic replies allowed
- Keep things running smoothly between reception, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Process payments and issue invoices accurately and efficiently
- Share insider tips on where to eat, what to see, and how to experience Amsterdam like a local
- Maintain a tidy, well-organized reception area
- Pass along guest feedback or issues to the team so we can keep improving
Job requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, reception, or front-of-house (hostel/hotel experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English (Dutch or other languages are a bonus)
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems (MEWS experience = extra points)
- A team player with great energy, initiative, and attention to detail
- Living in or near Amsterdam and ready to be part of the city buzz
- Available for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
