We’re looking for a Front Office team member with energy, charm, and a love for hospitality to welcome guests, keep things running smoothly, and make every stay unforgettable.
Durty Nelly’s is a true Amsterdam institution, blending Irish pub charm with hostel hospitality in the heart of the Red Light District. With 84 beds and a buzzing pub atmosphere, we create experiences that guests remember long after their visit from cold pints to warm beds and stories that stay with them.

What you’ll be doing
- Greeting and assisting guests at check-in and check-out
- Managing bookings, cancellations, and modifications through MEWS
- Answering emails, calls, and guest inquiries with warmth and professionalism
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready
- Processing payments and issuing invoices efficiently
- Keeping the reception area organized and presentable
- Helping maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere that captures Durty Nelly’s Irish charm
Job requirements
- Prior experience in hospitality or front desk roles (hostel/hotel experience is a plus)
- Fluent in English (Dutch or other languages are a bonus)
- Comfortable using computers and booking systems (MEWS experience preferred)
- Friendly, approachable, and able to handle busy periods with a smile
- Based in or around Amsterdam
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
