What you’ll bring and learn
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager in leading a high-energy, high-standard restaurant. You’re hands-on, enthusiastic, and able to inspire the team to deliver outstanding service. You’ll gain further leadership experience, deepen your knowledge of Italian cuisine, wines, and cocktails, and strengthen your ability to manage daily operations efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver unforgettable experiences to every guest and guide your team to do the same
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, including staffing, service, and workflow
- Maintain and elevate the quality of service consistently
- Monitor and analyze key metrics such as revenue, labor costs, schedules, and stock levels
- Coach and motivate staff daily, helping each team member reach their full potential
- Actively support the restaurant operation alongside the Manager, including upselling specials and presenting the menu
Job requirements
- Proven experience in a similar assistant or supervisory restaurant role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach a team effectively
- Flexible, calm under pressure, and organized
- Consistent in taste, presentation, and service speed
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and a people-focused mindset
- Motivated to achieve excellence in a dynamic, busy restaurant environment
